Happy days to all the Diggin' It groupies. A chill in the air calls for firing up the chiminea today. Come check out the really cool firepits I have for sale. Remember to shop local and support local artists. Funky Junky has funkified Diggin' It for the holidays with a great variety of salvage chic jewelry creations. Elaine from I Love Fiber Arts has sent wonderful sachet friend pillows filled with lavendar. Lainey and I go wayyyy back...lifelong friends from 4th/5th grade...a friend pillow seems so apropos!!! Ron, "The Spoon Guy' has restocked with his incredibly creative designs. Come see his new bracelets, garden angels, ornaments from goose eggs, and his latest creation...an etched incense burner it's too coolio! Prayers up to Maureen Cunningham our wrap bracelet artist for her daughter's speedy recovery....we love you Maureen and miss you!

fall is in the air......
We are closed right now! Very busy day unloading fall flowers... I have mums, pansies, pumpkins, herbs and a few vintage pieces that will make your autumn garden funky & fun for fall entertaining! See ya tomorrow.. I'll be in around 10'ish!

Finally got a current picture up!!! Have a new shipment of cool stuff on it's way. Found the wonderful peace signs made from the tops of vintage barrels...colorful pottery...fall plants have started to arrive... snapdragons, cabbage and kale...and more of that incredible soap. Sold out of the patchouli again...will order lots more this time.
Gearing up for the Diggin' It October Fest 1st Annual Sideyard Sale. It should be a hoot. Henna tatts ( our trademark)...a real life bee keeper with an observation hive...an expert on organics..an expert on life(that's me)...new t-shirts- new colors...several different artist demos...lots of antiques and just plain junk, art junk, cool junk, fresh junk, funky junk...junk food and some junk in the trunk junk.. The happening begins at 10am Saturday, September 25th. We are dog/kid friendly and don't forget you can ride your bike...I have a bike rack!!! Come see me. My hours are 10ish...ok more like 10:30- to 5...ish. Closed Sunday and Monday.

Diggin the new fence and gate ... plants are starting to come in and things are shaping up. I met with the decomposed granite and recycled cement guy tonight. Loads of decisions to make and I am starting to agree with almost anything. Lot's of people are still trying to find the bus station... what up..it's not located here anymore!!! Posting pics soon...stay tuned in and turned on!!!

Today the fence is going up and the DI house is getting painted...can't wait to load in all the merch. I got some wonderful estate sale items today...vintage record players...a mosaic birdbath...an incredible floral barkcloth chair....jewelry, and funky stuff out the wahzoo!! Will keep you posted...3 weeks and counting!!! This is real... it is happening and I can't wait!!!! Dig it baby Dig it!!
