Did you say ViNtAgE Aluminum Christmas Tree??

History lesson!!! DID YOU KNOW THE ALUMINUM CHRISTMAS TREE WAS INTRODUCED IN 1959? Growing up as a child did your family have a silver beauty? If you did - did you also have the color wheel - Now that was a classy accent piece! If you had the tree and the color wheel... for sure your home was voted as "THE HOUSE"  best dressed for Santa's arrival!  If you did not have one when you were a child .. I have one for you! I also have tons of vintage ornaments, tinsel AND funky vintage Christmas goodies!!

Hi, Diggin' It Girl! My grandma had an aluminum Christmas tree and I remember thinking it was the most wonderful, sparkly thing ever -- it made Christmas at her house magical. Great post!

My grandmother had one with blue ornaments and the color wheel. My parents thought it was awful! We never had an aluminum tree. My mom and dad were different, which embarrassed me at the time. But I later learned to appreciate it. We were the only ones I knew to have white flocked trees and all red ornaments or one year, orange!! One year we had a bare branched tree painted white. My mom was truly ahead of her time!
